WWF Romania

WWF is one of the world’s largest and most respected independent conservation organizations, with over 5 million supporters and a global network active in more than 100 countries and territories. WWF's mission is to stop the degradation of the Earth's natural environment and to build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by conserving the world's biological diversity, ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable, and promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption.

Terra Cypria–the Cyprus Conservation Foundation is a non-governmental organisation (NGO), officially established in 1992 as a charitable, non-profit organisation. Its overall aim is to promote environmental awareness and sustainability through political pressure and environmental education, as well as through programmes that promote conservation, environmental protection and research.

Since Latvia declared independence, Friends of the Earth Latvia has been the largest grassroots non-governmental organisation in the country, with more than 3,200 individual supporters and 64 local groups.

Friends of the Earth Czech Republic campaigns for environmental solutions on a wide range of issues, with a focus on energy, forests, mining, waste, agriculture, as well as general environmental policy issues.

General information about Coalition 

Environmental Coalition was established as the Coalition of the Lithuanian Environmental NGOs with the aim at uniting the knowledge, experience and resources of the organisations to work responsibly and in harmony with nature.  

Since June 15, 2011, the Lithuanian Environmental NGOs Coalition has been named as Environmental Coalition. The Coalition unites 9 Lithuanian Environmental NGOs („Members“) seeking to participate in the formation and implementation of the environment protection policy.

Za Zemiata works in collaboration with environmental organisations at national and international level. The Association is a member of international organisations CEE Bankwatch Network, Friends of the Earth Europe and Friends of the Earth International, GAIA (Global Alliance Against Incinerators) and SEEEN (Environmental NGOs for Southern and Eastern Europe) and is an associated member of the European Environmental Bureau.
